2025 Small Works

I'm fascinated how memory builds a person, like emotional architecture. I grew up talking to trees, raising feral kittens in the big wood pile out back in springtime, and climbing branches to call to birds with a clay water whistle. These paintings pull from those visceral fragments that still live deep in my chest, revealing themselves when I stumble upon just the right scent or sound or dreamscape.
